Tschabalala Self is a painter from Harlem, New York City. She received her BA from Bard College in 2012 and her MFA from the Yale School of Art in 2015. Selected recent solo exhibitions include the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles (2019); Yuz Museum, West Bund Shanghai (2018); Pilar Corrias Gallery, London (2017); Tramway, Glasgow (2017); Moore Building, Miami (2016); and T293, Naples (2016).
