Artist Statement

I explore the (w)holeness of embodiment through its varied states of discontinuity, rupture, and instability. I read feminisms, semiotics, and stories of trauma and recovery. My practice writes the body through my own experience and is in dialogue with and against those systems of power and oppression that give it context.
