Welcome to the Parsons Fine Arts MFA Virtual Open Studios. Fourteen emerging artists invite you to visit with them to learn more about their practices. This is a rare opportunity to view works in progress and meet the artists in an informal setting. Despite and throughout this trying pandemic year, these artists have excelled in their practices, demonstrating determination, curiosity and commitment. Perhaps more than ever, they have been reflecting critically on the world around them and what lays ahead. Visitors will gain insight into their diverse practices that are fostered within our studio art program, one which embraces interdisciplinary research, technical experimentation, intellectual rigor and formal innovation.
The artists will be present in their studios on Wednesday, May 12th from 6-9pm EST and would welcome an opportunity to meet with you. Simply click on their email addresses found on each artist page to set up a time to visit.
The platform will remain live throughout the summer as part of the Parsons Festival, which runs through August 30, 2021.
