The Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts’ upcoming exhibition, Art of Its Own Making, explores the artistic process and the ways in which artworks evolve over time through interactions with people and their surroundings.
The exhibition features sculpture, installation, film, video, and performance and sound works by a dozen artists, who examine how elements outside their control impact the works of art they create. On view February 13 to August 23, 2014, Art of Its Own Making demonstrates the connections between artwork, audience, and environment and their relevance to understanding and engaging with art.
