Vivian Chui

Vivian Chui is the Director of Exhibitions at Pioneer Works, a cultural center in Red Hook, Brooklyn that builds community through the arts and sciences. She has curated exhibitions by American Artist (forthcoming), Le’Andra LeSeur, Alex Harsley, Sally Saul, and Maia Cruz Palileo, in addition to helping organize many others at the institution. Born in Hong Kong and raised in Los Angeles, Chui received her MA in Modern Art: Critical and Curatorial Studies from Columbia University. Additionally, she has independently contributed writings on artists such as Darja Bajagić, Tomashi Jackson, Peter Saul, and Kim Tschang-Yeul in publications that include CulturedOcula MagazineGARAGE and Art Papers.
