Sarah Lookofsky currently serves as the Assistant Director of the International Program at MoMA in New York. She served as General Advisor to the 2016 Berlin Biennial. Previously, she was Faculty Member and Instructor for Curatorial Studies at the Whitney Museum’s Independent Study Program. Her writing has appeared in a variety of periodicals and books and she is arts editor of DIS Magazine. She has curated exhibitions at apexart, Art in General, Smack Mellon, Stacion Center for Contemporary Art and Gallery Miroslav Kraljević, among others, and is a board member of apexart and G-MK. She holds a Ph.D. in Art History, Theory and Criticism from the University of California, San Diego and a B.A. in Film and Media Studies from the University of Copenhagen.
