Naima J. Keith is the Deputy Director of Exhibitions and Programs at the California African American Museum where she oversees the museum’s exhibitions, events, acquisitions, and collections. Previously she was an Associate Curator at The Studio Museum in Harlem, where she produced a number of critically-acclaimed exhibitions with artists Rodney McMillian, Titus Kaphar, Samuel Levi Jones and Charles Gaines, among many others. Her essays appear in publications for The Studio Museum in Harlem, Hammer Museum, LAXART, MoMA PS1, and NKA: Journal of Contemporary African Art.
