Min Sun Jeon

Min Sun Jeon is an independent curator and researcher based in New York and is currently a curatorial assistant at the Whitney Museum of American Art, working on the 2024 Whitney Biennial Even Better Than the Real Thing. Her research focuses on works that create tension between cultural specificities and the universal. She holds an MA in Curatorial Studies from Bard College’s Center for Curatorial Studies, where she curated “Theresa Hak Kyung Cha: audience distant relative” (2022). During her time attending CCS, Min Sun also co-curated “Push Over / Push Back” (2021) at the Hessel Museum in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY and was a Curator-in-Residence at EMPAC in Troy, NY, where she co-curated “Conspiracy Influencer” (2022). Previously, she held a position at the SculptureCenter and the International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP) in New York.
