Liz Lorenz is currently an M.A. Candidate, Class of 2020 at the Center for
Curatorial Studies, Bard College. Her forthcoming written thesis and curated group
exhibition engage with queer feminist theories. Previously, Lorenz was the
Assistant Director of Martos Gallery NYC where she worked as an artist liaison
and managed secondary market sales for over three years. She has also held
curatorial fellowships and internships at the New Museum, the Studio Museum in
Harlem, and the Whitney Museum of American Art. In 2015, Lorenz graduated
summa cum laude from New York University with a B.A. in Art History.
