Jeannine Tang teaches art and exhibition history at the Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College. Previously a Terra Foundation fellow at the Smithsonian American Art Museum and an alumna of the Whitney Museum Independent Study Program, her writing has appeared in Artforum; Art Journal; Theory, Culture & Society; journal of visual culture, among other publications. She is writing a book on art and profiling in the 1970s, and co-curating an exhibition on the art and activities of Pat Hearn Gallery and American Fine Arts, Co. for the Hessel Museum in 2018.
