Hitomi Iwasaki, Director of Exhibitions/Curator, joined the Queens Museum in 1996 and has worked on numerous landmark exhibitions, including Cai Guo-Qiang (1997), Out of India: Contemporary Indian Art from Diaspora (1997), and Global Conceptualism (1999). Iwasaki is currently working on a forthcoming publication, The Panorama Handbook: Thoughts and Visions On and Around the Queens Museum’s Panorama of the City of New York. A recipient of the International Association of Art Critic’s IACA Curator’s Award Best Project in a Public Space, 2009-2010, Iwasaki received MA in Museum Studies from New York University and pursued additional post-graduate studies in Art History at CUNY Graduate Center.
