Carlota Ortiz Monasterio is a curator and art historian from Mexico City. Her research focuses on theories of the archive, narrative strategies, and practices that explore notions of identity, diaspora and embodied knowledge in relation to Latin America and the Caribbean. She received an MA in Modern and Contemporary Art: Critical and Curatorial Studies at Columbia University and was a 2023-24 curatorial fellow at the Whitney Independent Study Program.
