Amara Antilla has been a Guggenheim curator since 2010, assisting on the retrospectives of Lee Ufan, V. S. Gaitonde and Monir Farmanfarmaian. She also is part of the curatorial team responsible for acquisitions and exhibitions focusing on contemporary art from South and Southeast Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East and North Africa under the auspices of the Guggenheim UBS MAP Global Art Initiative. Her independent projects include programs created in collaboration with Clark House Initiative, Mumbai; Dhaka Art Summit; FD13, Saint Paul/New York; Kunsthochschule Kassel; Northern Spark, Minneapolis; and N. K. Projekt, Berlin, among others.
