Amanda Hunt is assistant curator at The Studio Museum, Harlem. A former curator at LAXART, one of the leading contemporary art spaces in Los Angeles, her exhibitions and projects include a solo show of Steffani Jemison, “Made in L.A. 2012” (the first L.A. Biennial, co-curated with the Hammer Museum), “Pacific Standard Time Performance and Public Art Festival” (co-organized with the Getty Research Institute), and the “Portland 2014 Biennial”. She has worked at various galleries and institutions since 2002, including Whitechapel Gallery, London; Friedrich Petzel Gallery, NY; Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts, San Francisco; and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
