The BFA program in Fine Arts exposes students to a wide variety of studio practices, ideas, communities and global relationships that make up the world of contemporary art. Students begin by learning traditional techniques in painting, drawing, sculpture and the video, while innovating and pushing the boundaries of what contemporary art can be. While experimenting with public engagement, video, animation, photography and digital imaging, they also cultivate the intellectual, conceptual, and critical thinking required to successfully launch their careers as professional artists. To learn more about the program, please contact Director of the BFA Program, Rit Premnath: rit.premnath@newschool.edu
