MFA Fine Arts Alum Justin Sterling will be exhibiting his work at BRIC’s upcoming exhibition, OPEN (C)ALL: TRUTH. His piece will be about water, and the medium will be the city. There are prizes available for exhibiting artists.
BRIC’s OPEN (C)ALL: TRUTH is an exhibition open to all members of the BRIC Contemporary Artist Registry, comprised of artists who were born, live, or work in Brooklyn. Presented biennially, this third iteration of the exhibition focuses on TRUTH. During a time of alternative truths and “truthiness”, we asked artists to show us their truths. The resulting work explores the current political climate and social issues, interior realities, and truth within the spiritual and psychological dimensions of life.
BRIC is Brooklyn’s biggest non-profit organization. Learn more about BRIC here. More info about the event is available here. See more of Justin’s work here.
This event is free and open to the public. The show will run from November 16—December 17, 2017.
