Nina Katchadourian’s often humorous conceptual works explore themes of mapping, translation and public space through a range of media, including photography, installation, video, sound-based work and public projects. Solo and group exhibitions include: the 2015 Venice Biennale; The Tang Museum, Saratoga Springs, NY; MoMA/PS1; Istanbul Museum of Modern Art; Palais de Tokyo; Catharine Clark Gallery, San Francisco; MOCA, San Diego; and Turku Art Museum, Finland. She has collaborated with Creative Time, Sculpture Center, the Public Art Fund, and Wave Hill to present several public projects in New York.
