Working through varied forms of sculpture, photography, video and performance, Mattingly focuses on environmental, economic and political change. Her works include spherical living-systems incorporating rainwater collection that cycled water through edible gardens, solar panels, and enclosed living spaces. Her work has been exhibited at the Museo Nacional de la Bellas Artes de la Habana, Cuba; Green Papaya Art Projects, Manilla; the Seoul Art Center, South Korea; Palais de Tokyo, Paris; deCordova Museum and Sculpture Park, MA; and in NYC at International Center of Photography, the Brooklyn Museum, and the New York Public Library.
