LJ Roberts has been named a 2019-2020 Artist-in-Residence at Pioneer Works in Brooklyn. Their residency began in September and will run until March 1st, 2020. During their residency, LJ will be working on large fiber installations that depict queer post-apocalyptic vehicular fantasy and beginning production on a video that addresses thresholds of visibility and invisibility in regards to trans-masculine gender expression. LJ’s studio will be open to the public during Pioneer Works Second Sundays.
