Fine Arts Faculty Cullen Washington, Jr. featured on Open House NYC

NBC producers have invited Fine arts Faculty Cullen Washington, Jr. to feature his studio and home on Open House NYC which aired Feb 20th, 2022 at 9am. It can also be seen on their YouTube channel.

In addition, he is a part of a multi-site exhibition re-imagining Afro-Futurism curated by Eden Williams (daughter of art collectors and history makers, Lyn and E.T. Williams, https://www.nytimes.com/2018/11/22/arts/design/show-us-your-wall-et-lyn-williams.html ) and Sag Harbor gallerists and dealer Julie Keyes.

About the work.

Scars and Light. Skin records the history of personal and collective events in space and time. I use printed light to paint and memorialize these scarred and keloid markers where violence has ceased and wounds are healed.
