Juniors in each section of this course curate a single exhibition platform for an adjacent course section involving approximately 10 of their peers. Through close encounter with peer work and practices, we build a networked collective that engages the context of student practices across a diverse range of media and points of view.
Studio Visits
A big part of curating is studio visits. Peer curators will conduct and archive studio visits with other class sections in presentation forms such as interviews, videos and performative lectures.
Activations
Through a series of programs the peer curators and artists organize panel discussions, online forums, screenings and other strategies for engaging the ideas and context of the exhibition.
