I consider my work to be influenced by both line and shape. The way that my sculptures interact with the space around them through both of these themes and how the use of material can affect the way we interpret them. I have become fascinated by the different shapes and lines that make up our surroundings. I want to make art using these inspirations and portray a sense of repetition in an abstract way.

My work has evolved and incorporates suspension which includes both ceramics and metal. Some of these ceramics are also shown alongside metal structures. These materials have played a big part in the make- up of my sculptures and through these mediums, I want to convey themes to do with relationships and how there is tension and vulnerability between individuals. I have also developed an interest in works incorporating text, expressing my own past with certain relationships.

I have experimented a lot with these materials and looked at the different ways they can be performative through movement and light. Whilst also exploring the way artworks evolve in response to their surroundings and interactions with the viewer. These explorations have been a meditative and repetitive process that embodies my curiosity in gestural expression.
