I’m a Canadian artist from Vancouver, BC. I primarily work in oil paint. My thesis consists of paintings of old family photographs. I focus on images that reveal a certain family dynamic, not necessarily the ones that provide the perfect image. I haven’t seen most of the people that show up in these paintings for years now. I’ve used this project as a means to sort out who they were and what they meant to me growing up.
