Since arriving in New York City, I have been overwhelmed by the amount of visual information there is. My photographs quickly became a series of comparisons. I use qualities of equivalence, similarity and difference to understand and learn about my surrounding. The modes and structure I use on a specific series are different, and each series has a different theme that reflects this. The theme for my most recent series is the number 2. This series includes the physical manifestation of the number 2 as objects, as well as a human interpretation.
