Artist Statement:

I have an unhealthy love for stories and characters that stems from watching too many cartoons and reading too many fantasy novels as a kid. (Who am I kidding? I did that yesterday.) I’m interested in energy and movement and how your design choices can make an entire world come to life. I think it’s pretty awesome that an artist can instantly cause an audience to care about a bunch of lines, once you give that bunch of lines a personality. To me, filling out Word documents is just as important as filling out sketchbooks. When you combine words and pictures, magical things can happen!
