This project investigates the lifestyle of a group of coming of age boys growing up in Levittown, Pennsylvania. Like many kids of their generation, each of these boys has been diagnosed and is being medicated for either ADD or ADHD. While it may seem that they are living in the fantasy of the American dream, in reality, they each are living in an enforced dream state. Using the idea of suburbia, I create a constructed reality surrounding fantastical narratives that portray the escape and transcendence from within the confines of suburbia that these boys strive for.
