Ariana Bläuer
I am an illustrator and printmaker based in New Jersey with a passion for visual storytelling and the absurd. My work is informed by self-reflection and nostalgia, focusing on self-sabotage and anxiety. I view my art practice as therapeutic, allowing me an outlet to express my inner trials and tribulations. I draw inspiration from classical art tropes and mythology, finding solace in fantastical, thought-out worlds. My aesthetics are primarily rooted in psychedelia and maximalism, while also drawing elements from mid-century illustration and impressionism. The love of my life is a Risograph printer.
