  • This thesis project is an abstract representation of a photo that was captured in my grandmother’s house where I visit every summer since I was born. It also acts as a journey that one starts on a boat. Sailing through the artist’s life year by year. The combination of different mediums such as ceramics, hand weaving and handbound book is a collection of my artistic practices. As a concrete representation of my age and the time that has passed by, there are 22 different fishing boats. To accompany this installation a collection of memories and anecdotes from my childhood are gathered together in a handbound book.
