Invisible Butterflies
Invisible Butterflies is a year-long study examining mental and environmental interruptions caused by anxiety.
This research project investigates how individuals understand the way their body works under specific feelings and emotional states, and translate these perceptions into coping mechanisms.
Inspired by a collection of survey responses and psychotherapy group meetings, narratives reflecting extreme causes for stress were explored through poetry and sequence photography. These two methods were used as a mechanism for visual storytelling.
In its physical form, Invisible Butterflies consists of 7 individual story booklets confined in a custom-made acrylic box for safekeeping. For more information, please visit the website link below.
