  • Invisible Butterflies is a year-long study examining mental and environmental interruptions caused by anxiety.

  • This research project investigates how individuals understand the way their body works under specific feelings and emotional states, and translate these perceptions into coping mechanisms.

    Inspired by a collection of survey responses and psychotherapy group meetings, narratives reflecting extreme causes for stress were explored through poetry and sequence photography. These two methods were used as a mechanism for visual storytelling.

    In its physical form, Invisible Butterflies consists of 7 individual story booklets confined in a custom-made acrylic box for safekeeping. For more information, please visit the website link below.
