The Decades Project

I am a New York based creative director, photo, video, and graphic design artist. My work explores the world of youth culture through pop-culture, counter-culture, and subculture.

My thesis project, “The Decades Project” is an anthropological visual diary in which highlights visual culture through the 1960’s, 1970’s and 1980’s. The work is inspired by album covers, movie posters, and fashion magazine spreads from each selected decade. The imagery was made to provoke feelings of nostalgia and explore the concepts of impermanence, memory, influence, and oblivion.
