Sydney Epstein is a photographer and writer from Boston, MA. Her work explores themes of identity, sexuality, beauty, and body image.

Te Kalliste (Greek for, ‘For the Most Beautiful’) tells my story of sruvivng sexual assault. In the form of a book, I weave photographs, poetry, and prose together through the lens of Greek mythology. With nods to notable mythological women who are also sexual assault survivors, I channel their stories and struggle to help share my own. Through reimagining and reinventing myths, I’ve created an entirely new myth that reclaims the agency of mythological survivors as well as empowering and reclaiming my agency.
