Grayce Haudenschield is a fashion photographer based in New York City. Adopted from Vietnam, raised in New York City, living as a Hong Kong expat.

Ledge Dr documented the stillness of time in my family’s summer home. My father, sister and I stayed there as one of our family members contracted Covid-19. I had never been during the winter. What was always known as a warm safe haven, felt desolate. The spaces captured are missing the most important element of the house: the people that we fill it with. Hamburgers and towels were replaced with masks and coats. Time seemed to stop while we anxiously waited for our daily phone call with the doctors. Family comes first. Without them, I would not be here.
