New York-based photographer Anna LaGrone works in the realms of portraiture, fashion, and storytelling. She creates bold and confronting images that speak to human expression.

This project responds to the mental and physical effects of online school and work. COVID-19 has caused a surge of technology use, mostly out of necessity, but also out of boredom from being housebound. This increase in screen time has resulted in digital or Zoom fatigue. My work is a visual interpretation of the exhaustion experienced from staring at screens all day, every day. By combining digital and physical manipulation, including photocopiers and scanners, the experimental process of crafting the images is instrumental to the work.
