  • Coyote Park is a 2Spirit, mixed race artist from Honolulu, Hawaii that currently lives in Tongva Territory (Los Angeles). They are Indigenous to California and are a queer and trans photographer, and oral historian.

  • “All Kin is Blood Kin” is an exploration of my trans and queer family through photography and written reflections in the form of a book. It is a love story between the family that raised me in my childhood, and the one that continues to raise and nurture me through my adulthood. My family is always expanding and I am constantly growing into new models of what family means to me. My transgender and mixed race identity has shaped my understanding of kinship and home. This book is a way I am able to dive into the relationships I share with my wife, partners, friendships, parents, grandparents, and ancestors. The color red unifies the book, like a string tying us together. It speaks to spirit, and I believe that I have experienced love like this in many lifetimes and my elders protect over me with that same fire. This book is a living testimony of my existence, that love is a possibility for people like me.
