I have been visualizing my trauma from behind the lens for 4 years. I began illustrating my emotions on paper, which then allowed me to think in a more conceptual way when I shifted into video. The video displayed is a representation of what it is like to visualize trauma through emotion and solitude, while also understanding the relationship between the environment and self. The research I have done through shadow work takes the dark and the light of each individual to create a harmonious balance.
