Saint Ann’s School is seeking a Web and Graphic Design Coordinator who will work closely with the Director of Development to develop and maintain a consistent identity for Saint Ann’s School and visually communicate the school culture via all online and print media. This is a 3⁄4­time position. He/She will:

  •  Lead the creative process for the digital and print communications for the Development Office.
  • Spearhead and collaborate on the full redesign and development of the school website.
  • Work with academic departments, attend events and interact with the community to source and manage content for the school website.
  • Create print materials from concept to production for Development Office needs. Items include: invitations, brochures, posters, html emails, and promotional event websites.
  • Design and develop the bi­annual school magazine (print) and the monthly newsletter (web) in collaboration with the Development Office.

Other responsibilities and projects as assigned by the Director of Development. Qualifications:

  • Uniquely creative, with an excellent sense of humor.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in graphic arts or interactive/digital media.
  • Dedication to constant learning and skill development.
  • Direct experience with setting up and administering popular web CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, etc).

● Advanced proficiency in the full Adobe CS6 suite, with an emphasis on illustration, online and print layouts, and production of rich media assets.
● Previous experience in UI/UX design for web; cross browser/platform testing and reactive/device aware web design.

  • Proficiency with HTML5, CSS, JQuery, and other web­standard languages.
  • Experience using Google Analytics to measure the effectiveness of an organization’s web properties, as well as the usability of its website and other online content.
  • Professionalism and willingness of serve as an advocate of the school at all times.
  • Strong writing and editing skills are essential.
  • Must be highly motivated with an ability to work both independently and in collaboration with colleagues across departments.
