The role:
Innovation Fellow – UX Designer
This is a great opportunity to work on an array of very interesting projects in the education sector.
INNOVATION FELLOWS invent and manage new Functions and Services as part of the expanded research and learning program of EdLab, at The Gottesman Libraries (http://edlab.tc.columbia.edu).
Fellows Develop, Design, and Implement new Research, Teaching, and Learning Resources to meet the needs of students, teachers, and researchers around the world. EdLab projects also have a strong emphasis on piloting projects at Teachers College at Columbia University.
This is a one-year full-time appointment with possibility for renewal.
What we are looking for:

A great UX Designer.
Someone who:
– Enjoys doing diagrams of the user’s mental modes.
– Truly understands the beauty of wireframing, sitemapping & integrating from a visual / brand design.
– Has their own tool set, and someone who feels comfortable communicating between concept & visualization.
Minimum Qualifications:

• Demonstration of a history of creativity and innovation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Capacity to work in a collaborative environment
• Ability to deliver services and products on budget and on time
• Bachelors Degree
• Graduate education in a relevant area of study
Additional Qualifications:

• Balsamiq, Omnigraffle, etc. (required)
• Always looking for team members comfortable working in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver.
