Conductor is seeking a dynamic user experience expert to be responsible for all areas of user research, interaction design, and visual design. Candidate will be responsible for conducting user research and business analysis for new and existing features, designing the interaction of these new features, creating low- and high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes, and maintaining the visual design and consistency of our newly-launched SEO product. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, will be detail-oriented and analytical, and have the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with product management and engineering. The candidate should also possess a solid understanding of web technologies and enjoy creating, updating, and delivering designs that demonstrate a solid understanding of end users and their challenges.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular meetings with customers to understand their business processes and challenges
  • Collect feedback from internal users and external customers on new and existing features; make this information readily available to engineering and product management teams
  • Deliver research findings to entire organization through personas, usability reports, presentations, and internal wiki
  • Conduct basic market research to help broaden understanding of our users and their challenges
  • Create low- and high-fidelity wireframes for engineering team
  • Attend daily stand-ups and planning meetings and identify all user experience tasks required for successful product releases
  • Own the user experience process from beginning to end; ensure that features delivered to production follow prototypes and specifications
  • Interface with many different areas of the organization such as client services and engineering
  • Work as a partner with product management to deliver the best features possible to our end-users

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years in user experience role for a software or technology company
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines and deliver high-quality materials
  • Proven track record of innovation for making products more usable and useful for customers
  • Ability to learn quickly and adjust priorities in a dynamic environment with short release cycles
  • Must have familiarity with an agile development process SEO experience or online marketing experience is a plus
