PURPOSE:
Rhythm and Hues FX Department is seeking an FX TD-Support person to innovate and assist the FX team in the development of tools and plug-ins for their Visual Effects Pipeline.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Create tools that assist in the generation of all types of effects, including water and ocean environments.
· Responsible for assisting artists solve rendering issues.
· May also be asked to work on production doing Effects time permitting.

REQUIREMENTS:
· Several years of Houdini and Python experience a must.
· Working knowledge of C++ mandatory.
· Experience with Shader Development in Mantra or Renderman preferred.
· Production experience preferred.
· Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
