The editorial photography internship at Refinery29 is a great opportunity for interns to learn the fundamentals of photo editing , photo production, and photography at a high paced and high volume digital publication. This is an extremely hands on internship that will require interns to be resourceful and work independently through tasks. The internship is split into shooting for Refinery29.com and the Refinery29 Instagram feed as well as working on production aspects for various shoots. This includes cropping images, color correcting files, prop sourcing, location scouting, assisting in managing Refinery29 photo studio and in house prop and equipment room. Interns must be extremely proficient in photoshop, knowledgeable in lighting and grip equipment, have strong studio lighting skills and on location shooting experience. The internship also offers opportunities to go on various photo shoots to gain on set experience.
