Margaux Salgado is a junior Parsons Paris student visiting the New York Campus for the semester. Computational Forms – a class she took with Professor Justin Bakse – lead her to investigate using glitches as a form of collage and pairing them with landscape photos taken in Norway. Her intention with these multi-media pieces was to “make something that looks organic out of these sharp shapes, and go back to a more ‘traditional’ idea of the collage and go against the rough and raw aesthetic linked to glitch art!” Visit the class Tumblr to view Margaux’s and other students work.
