You’re invited to the opening of “Destroy, she said,” at Pierogi’s Boiler Space on Friday, March 6 from 7-10 pm (191 N. 14th St, Williamsburg). The premise of the show was to destroy an art work. AMT Faculty Jeanine Oleson is presenting a video she developed with performers from her recent experimental opera “Hear, Here.” They re-perform the piece through the loss and resurrection of their memories of the script (the original was a complicated 23 parts). unnamed-13unnamed-12

(See links to the original performance documented here: excerpt and full piece)
Jeanine is also giving a public lecture on Tuesday, March 10 at 6pm in SVA’s MFA Fine Arts program that is open to the public
133-141 West 21st Street, First floor.
