Join the BFA Photography Program on Thursday, November 16th at 7pm in Kellen Auditorium to hear An-My Lê speak about her practice and her current survey exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art!
An-My Lê’s work addresses the complexity that surrounds how we represent, mythologize, and justify war and conflict. Born in Vietnam in 1960, Lê emigrated to the US after the fall of Saigon in 1975, as a refugee. She is a MacArthur Fellow and the Charles Franklin Kellogg and Grace E. Ramsey Kellogg Professor in the Arts at Bard College.
