Julia Gorton, Director of AAS Graphic Design and Printmaking, Communications Design faculty and former punk rock photographer share work from one of the AAS classes, History of Graphic Design.
After a presentation about the transition between the surburban sitcom 60’s to the gritty city of the 70’s, students utilized the aesthetics from Gorton’s own work from the late 70’s (a piece of which is now showing at the MOMA) as inspiration to create portraits of each other “in the style of” using black and hot pink tape.
