Nicholas DuPont

Nicholas DuPont is a visual artist from Rhode Island who currently lives in Brooklyn, New York. He began photography by taking self-portraits in the woods or by the ocean, visually exploring his identity and his understanding of the surrounding environment. In 2016 he graduated from College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor, Maine with a BA in Human Ecology – an interdisciplinary study of the relationship between humans and their natural and built environments. Nicholas merged his interests in marine science and art by observing and documenting his experiences in Acadia National Park and along the coast of Maine. Through photography, he aims to express his relationships with individuals as well as the places he explores.
