    My thesis is an alternate reality game (ARG) that is in multiple interconnected parts. One part consists of a physical interactive pop-up book. This book presents itself as a fun and fictional guide to different alien species which was produced by Nova Simmons. This book has information regarding where these aliens came from and how they came into contact with humans. Nothing in the book directly suggests that the information in it is real. That is where the other portion of the thesis comes into play.

    The other half of my thesis is the personal website of Nova Simmons. This is where the viewer will find the reason as to why Nova created this book. The real reason being the subjects and information in the book is true. However, the information needed to be presented in a way which would not panic the public. The reason for this is because extraterrestrials have been in contact with humans for a long time but have been unable to show themselves due to the panic it would cause.
