Interdimensional Pizza Pushers
Follow Honeybear and Fishlips as they work to deliver pizzas across multiple dimensions and animation styles!
For my thesis animation, I wanted to create a short film that included some of the many styles and mediums I’ve worked with during my time at Parsons. Figuring out a narrative that would tie together all of these different styles in a cohesive manner was the most difficult part of deciding what exactly this project would entail. The idea for an interdimensional pizza delivery company, characters and all, came to me while I was bored out of my mind, gently floating in a sensory deprivation tank.
In creating this short, I wished to explore how my characters and their personalities would transfer across a myriad of mediums. I have always loved to work in a wide variety of styles and saw my thesis film as the perfect opportunity to experiment with style to my heart’s content until I found something that I could truly be happy with as a finished product. The incredibly short timespan of the project meant that I would have to organize my time into very specific chunks, which I looked at as an ideal lesson in time management for my post-graduation life as a freelance animator.
