A graphic novel exploring themes of human relationships and passing of time

The inspiration of “Vice Versa” came from my experience at an art workshop. At the workshop, I was not a student, but an artist who had a voice. But after five days, I had to return to my life as a student, wondering why excitement is often short-lived. Time doesn’t wait for me. If time is a person, it would be a capricious person with intense mood swings. One day time might be good to me, but another day it could be bad. I know that time may be on my side now, but tomorrow, it could be an enemy. I cannot predict how quickly or slowly time will pass.

From here, the inspiration led to development and creation of “Vice Versa,” a story about people who became friends through an incident that brings connection and freedom. Unfortunately, this happiness abruptly ends. Time runs out quickly and the characters sadly return to the confines of their everyday life. The initial part of the story starts with an achromatic palette. But as the story progresses, the characters talk to each other about their past and they slowly begin to gain color in their hair, indicating their individualities and existences.
