Visualized Sensations

An exploration of the sensations one feels when on different recreational drugs.

My work is an exploration of the sensations one feels when on different recreational drugs, finished in sculptural form. Focusing on key words that describe emotional and physical sensations of each drug helped inform my sculptures with specific characteristics. I chose to work in 3D because that is where my personal interest lies. A 3D form also encapsulates a feeling or sensation into a moment, or my personal interest, a creature. I love to see things take shape and come to life, and focusing on recreational drugs allows me to explore a wide range of emotion in my sculptures.
